1. Information we collect
We collect information needed to operate My Building Plans South Africa, including account details, organization membership, uploaded files, project data, workspace activity, transactions, support messages, and technical logs.
Where a feature is enabled, we may collect the additional feature-specific data described below.
2. How information is used
We use information to authenticate users, operate workspaces, process orders and payments, deliver digital services, improve reliability, prevent abuse, provide support, and maintain audit records.
We do not sell personal data. We may share data with processors, payment providers, storage providers, AI providers, email providers, or marketplace participants only as needed to deliver the requested feature.
3. Security, retention, and rights
We use reasonable security controls for data in transit and at rest. No online system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so users should avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive information.
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of eligible personal data by contacting support@visualspaces.studio. Some records may be retained where required for legal, audit, payment, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.
4. Visual Spaces uploads, prompts, and outputs
When image-generation or board features are enabled, we process uploaded images, prompts, references, generated outputs, style selections, and usage logs to provide the requested creative workflow.
Some processing may be performed by AI, storage, or rendering providers. Users should not upload images or confidential materials unless they have permission to process them through the feature.
5. Plans marketplace orders and catalogue data
For plan marketplace features, we process seller catalogue data, plan metadata, uploaded plan files, buyer contact details, order records, payment references, download entitlements, fulfilment status, and dispute or support history.
Buyer and seller data may be shared with the relevant marketplace participants, payment providers, print/fulfilment partners, and support teams only as needed to complete the transaction or resolve a dispute.
6. Professional profiles, leads, and service messages
Professional marketplace features process public profile data, verification evidence, service listings, briefs, proposals, lead details, messages, milestones, payout records, and dispute information.
Profile and service data marked public may be displayed to buyers. Private lead, message, and payment data is used to operate the marketplace, enforce rules, and support parties to a transaction.
7. CSV import data handling
When CSV import is enabled, we process the uploaded CSV file, plan identifiers, source URLs, imported assets, row-level validation results, uploader identity, and organization ownership to create or update that organization’s catalogue.
Import logs and validation errors may be retained to support auditability, troubleshoot failed rows, and prevent cross-organization catalogue changes.
